Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lizzo & More Confirmed For 2023 BottleRock Festival

Celebrated California festival BottleRock Napa Valley has announced its 2023 edition, which is set for 26-28 May at Napa Valley Expo.

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lizzo, Duran Duran, Lil Nas X, Post Malone and The Smashing Pumpkins will headline, while the bill also features Leon Bridges, Billy Strings, Wu-Tang Clan, The National, Sheryl Crow, Nile Rodgers & Chic, Carly Rae Jepsen, Tove Lo, Phantogram, Japanese Breakfast, Thievery Corporation, Lucius, Cautious Clay, Los Lobos, War, KennyHoopla, Lupe Fiasco, Sudan Archives, Starcrawler, and more.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday, January 10 at noon PT, with an American Express cardholder presale starting two hours earlier on that same Tuesday. Visit the BottleRock official website for further information.

Elsewhere in Red Hot Chili Peppers news, the band are among the star names announced for the 2023 Hangout Fest, along with Paramore, SZA, Calvin Harris, Lil Nas X, Flume, Skrillex and the Kid LAROI.

Hangout Fest will take place from May 19-21. Other acts set for the Alabama Shores-based festival include AJR, COIN, GloRilla, Kevin Gates, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Russ, Thundercat, Tove Lo, Yung Gravy, Flipturn, the Maine, Mayday Parade and Mike.

Prior to Christmas, Red Hot Chili Peppers also announced the details of their 2023 World Tour, in support of their two 2022 No 1 studio albums, Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen.

Following a recent Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song for Black Summer, the band will embark on a 23-date global trek that kicks off on Wednesday 29 March at BC Place in Vancouver, BC with stadium shows and festival stops across North America and Europe in Las Vegas, San Diego, Houston, Lisbon, Madrid, Vienna and more before wrapping up on Saturday 23 July in Glasgow, UK at Hampden Park. The Strokes, Iggy Pop, The Roots, The Mars Volta, St. Vincent, City and Colour, Thundercat, and King Princess will join the band on select dates.
