The outpouring of love for Tina Turner, who died last week aged 83, looks set to push two of her albums into this week’s UK Top 10.

According to the Official Charts Company, Tina’s greatest hits compilation The Platinum Collection is her biggest climber so far this week, looking to enter the Top 10 for the first time at No 8, having peaked at No 14 in 2009. Currently at No 10 is her former chart-topping 1989 LP Foreign Affair, which yielded her massive hit single, The Best.

Two more albums by the pop icon could also make it into the wider Top 40 this week. 1994 compilation The Collected Recordings is predicted to enter the chart for the first time ever at No 12, while Tina’s 1984 career comeback vehicle Private Dancer could come in at No 31, having peaked at No 2 upon its original release.

Meanwhile, tributes continue to pour in for the late singer. “I would not exist if it not for the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” Lizzo said to a crowd in Phoenix on Wednesday night. “There would be no rock ‘n’ roll without Tina Turner” before performing Turner’s classic Proud Mary.
