American Express presents BST Hyde Park are excited to welcome international superstar Andrea Bocelli, headlining London’s best festival on Friday 5 July. Today we can announce even more super special guests who will be joining Bocelli on stage – including soul vocalist Seal, legendary composer Hans Zimmer, global artist Zucchero, plus Joaquina, Loren Allred, Andrea Griminelli, Rusanda Panfili, Virginia Bocelli, and dancers Angelica Gismondo and Francesco Costa.

Pre-order Seal (Deluxe Edition) here.

Seal and the other newly-confirmed artists join previously announced: Katherine Jenkins OBE, Matteo Bocelli, who will be performing their own exclusive sets, also host Myleene Klass, opera star performers Nadine Sierra, Isabel Leonard and Luca Micheletti, and choir Crouch End Festival Chorus.

The first classical artist to headline in BST Hyde Park’s history, and a 2024 UK exclusive, Bocelli will be joined by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Michele Spotti. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

Seal is a major draw alongside Andrea Bocelli. Emerging from England’s house music scene in 1990, he became the most popular British soul vocalist of the decade. By the mid-90s he was known for a distinctive fusion of soul, folk, pop, dance, and rock that brought him success on both sides of the Atlantic. His first single Killer won an Ivor Novello Award, to be followed by two more for ‘Crazy’ and his most celebrated song Kiss from a Rose, as well as three BRIT Awards and four Grammy Awards only a few years later.

In a statement, Andrea Bocelli said ““Hyde Park is the perfect place for coming together to celebrate my 30th anniversary and reimagine it as a springboard propelling us into the future, imbued with positivity and the power of good. Celebrating it here is sure to be unforgettable, in the vast green lung from which London has been drawing breath for hundreds of years, in this park that is the embodiment of a glorious chapter in the history of a nation, of a continent, of a civilization…and also of so much wonderful music that has rung out here, nourishing it in its wake.”

Elsewhere, in Seal news, the singer has announced a deluxe edition box set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his classic self-titled second album.

Seal (Deluxe Edition) is set for release on 14 June in various formats. A 2LP version will be available on black vinyl and a “Milky White” vinyl exclusively from HMV as part of their Vinyl Week. A 2CD+Blu-ray version will feature exclusive Dolby Atmos and PCM 24/96 High Resolution Stereo mixes of the album.
