Paramore, Red Hot Chili Peppers To Headline Hangout Fest

Paramore, Red Hot Chili Peppers, SZA, Calvin Harris, Lil Nas X, Flume, Skrillex and the Kid LAROI are among the first batch of names announced for Hangout Fest 2023.

Hangout Fest will take place 19-21 May. Ticket presale begins this Friday (9 December) at 10AM CT. More details are available here.

Other acts set for the Alabama Shores-based festival include AJR, COIN, GloRilla, Kevin Gates, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Russ, Thundercat, Tove Lo, Yung Gravy, Flipturn, the Maine, Mayday Parade and Mike.

Meanwhile, Paramore have announced an album release show at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry early next year. The show will take place at the prestigious venue – considered the home of country music – on 6 February 2023, with Louis Prince supporting.

Fans can register for the pre-sale from now until 6 December at 10pm CT here. The pre-sale begins at 10am CT on 8 December, while general sale tickets will be available here from 10am CT on 9 December.

Paramore will also be releasing their new single, The News, this Thursday (8 December). It will be the second release from their forthcoming album, This Is Why, due 10 February 2023.

Last week, Red Hot Chili Peppers announced their 2023 Tour, in support of their two 2022 No 1 studio albums, Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen.

Following a recent Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song for Black Summer, the band will embark on a 23-date global trek that kicks off on Wednesday 29 March at BC Place in Vancouver, BC with stadium shows and festival stops across North America and Europe in Las Vegas, San Diego, Houston, Lisbon, Madrid, Vienna and more before wrapping up on Saturday 23 July in Glasgow, UK at Hampden Park. The Strokes, Iggy Pop, The Roots, The Mars Volta, St. Vincent, City and Colour, Thundercat, and King Princess will join the band on select dates.
