Fred Again.. Announces New Album, Shares New Single

Fred again.. has announced details of his third album, Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9 2022), which will be released on 28 October on Atlantic. The first single from the album, Danielle (smile on my face), is released today, check it out below.

Fans can pre-order Actual Life 3 (January 1 – September 9 2022) for the chance to buy priority tickets for the producer’s Brixton Academy show, before a general sale begins on 23 September.

Fred has worked with Ed Sheeran, Skrillex, FKA Twigs, Swedish House Mafia, BTS, Baxter Dury, Stormzy, Burna Boy, Headie One, Halsey, Eminem, Octavian, The xx, Underworld, Perrie Edwards, Brian Eno and Stefflon Don.

Aged just 16, Gibson joined an a cappella group at Brian Eno’s studio in London. In 2014, he collaborated as co-producer and songwriter with Eno and Karl Hyde on their two project albums Someday World and High Life (songwriter only).

In 2018, George Ezra’s song Shotgun, co-written by Fred, reached No 1 in the charts, remaining in the Top 3 for 12 consecutive weeks. Later in the same year, Gibson was also credited with co-writing Solo by Clean Bandit, featuring Demi Lovato, and gained further success with Rita Ora’s song Let You Love Me.

Gibson is credited with writing and/or producing 12 of the 15 songs on Ed Sheeran’s 2019 album, Collaborations Project.

Gibson won Producer of the Year at the Brit Awards 2020. Gibson released his first two albums during 2021 – Actual Life and Actual Life 2.[15][16] In July 2022, Fred Again performed at the Boiler Room club in London, with his debut performance gaining critical acclaim, where in the same week, he released a new track with Swedish House Mafia, Turn On The Lights again.., then first song from Actual Life 3.
