Grammy-nominated, international superstar Adam Lambert has announced two special live shows, in London, UK and Cologne, Germany. The London date sees the artist set to play the iconic Royal Albert Hall on 5 June 2023, with Adam taking to the stage at The Palladium in Cologne on 10 June 2023. Artist Presale for London’s Royal Albert Hall begins Wednesday, 1 March at 9:30am. General on-sale begins Friday, 3 March at 9:30am.

The news follows the release of Adam’s highly anticipated album High Drama. An album of inspired covers, High Drama marks his first release via his new deal with Warner Music. The album showcases a diverse roster of songs- ranging from the old to the new- held together by Lambert’s once-in-a-generation voice. Older songs include Duran Duran’s Ordinary World and Holding Out For A Hero while new tracks span from a dancefloor-focused version of Sex On Fire to powerful track Chandelier, a compelling rendition of the Sia hit.

“The idea came up to do an album of covers, and I haven’t done that before,” Adam Lambert said of the album. “I’ve done that on American Idol, obviously – and Queen is essentially sort of a covers situation, even though I’m in the band.”

He continued, “It was like a real nice challenge to go, ‘OK, let’s find songs’ – some are obscure, some are new, some are really well-known – ‘that we think are cool, and flip them and make them sound entirely different if we can.’”

Executive produced by Adam himself, alongside production from the likes of Tommy English (Kacey Musgraves, Carly Rae Jepsen), Andrew Wells (Halsey, OneRepublic), George Moore and Mark Crew, High Drama is a journey through modern music. The diverse collection of songs span from classics such as Ann Peebles’ I Can’t Stand The Rain and Bonnie Tyler’s Holding Out For A Hero to modern hits like Billie Eilish’s Getting Older, which gets a glam-inspired transformation and a rock-leaning rendition of Lana Del Rey’s West Coast, each song showcasing Adam’s unmatched vocal talent.

Following Adam’s exclusive album launch party show at London’s KOKO tonight, 27 February, these newly announced London and Cologne dates will be the first opportunity for fans to hear tracks off High Drama live.
