Slipknot have announced the vinyl release of their Live At MSG album. The vinyl set will be released on 18 August and can be pre-ordered here.

The Live At MSG vinyl release coincides with the 15th anniversary of their fourth studio album All Hope Is Gone. Live At MSG was previously released as a bonus disc with the 10th-anniversary edition of the album.

“Slipknot has always bent the world to its own collective will,” the band stated in a press release. “One of countless examples occurred on February 5, 2009, when the band did what few could have predicted when we’d started: Slipknot headlined the World’s Greatest Arena, Madison Square Garden.”

Live At MSG will be pressed in six different limited edition variants handpicked by the band, and features new cover art by M. Shawn ‘clown’ Crahan. Along with the standard LP, the band will also be releasing Live At MSG merchandise including t-shirts, a hoodie, a hockey puck, vinyl slipmat and an enamel pin. Merch bundles will also be available for purchase.

Slipknot’s latest album The End, So Far landed at No 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart and at No 2 on the Billboard 200, marking their sixth Top 10-charting album on the Billboard 200. The album also made a colossal impact worldwide with No 1 debuts in the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Switzerland and Mexico, as well as Top 3 debuts in Canada, New Zealand, Finland, Sweden, Japan, and Belgium.

The band followed the album with a standalone single, Bone Church. On its release band member Clown said in a statement, “On the road, we have a “jam room” set up backstage at every show, where we play, practice, warm up and sometimes try out new ideas. Bone Church started life in a jam room on the .5: The Gray Chapter tour. We’ve been bringing it closer and closer to life ever since, and finally, here it is. This one is for the fans – a further vision deeper into Slipknot’s history, which is still being written. Enjoy.”
