Paramore, Lil Nas X, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Chicks, SZA, Kacey Musgraves and Flume will headline the 2022 Austin City Limits Music Festival. This year’s event will take place over two weekends at the city’s downtown Zilker Park, with bands playing across nine stages on 7-9 Oct and 14-16 Oct.

The eclectic festival will take place over two separate weekends. Some artists will perform both weekends, including Jazmine Sullivan, Conan Gray, Omar Apollo, Japanese Breakfast, the Marías, Pinkpantheress, Arlo Parks, Noah Cyrus, Robert Glasper, Benee, Samia, the Midnight, Diplo, and Wallows, while others will perform once.

The first weekend will include performances by James Blake, Lil Durk, Carly Rae Jepsen, Goth Babe, Aly & AJ, Role Model, MUNA, Isaac Dunbar, Gayle, Slayyyter, and more, and the second weekend will see shows from Phoenix, Yungblud, Princess Nokia, Wet Leg, Lucky Daye, the Front Bottoms, Tom Odell, Glaive, Sloppy Jane, and more.

The War On Drugs, SZA, Flume, Nathanial Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Billy Strings, Oliver Tree, Big Gigantic, Goose, and Cory Henry are also slated to perform.

Austin City Limits experienced setbacks in 2021 after losing two headliners. First Stevie Nicks pulled out due to concerns over the Delta variant of COVID-19, and then DaBaby was relieved of his headlining spot after the rapper made homophobic remarks at Rolling Loud Miami. Nicks was replaced with Duran Duran and Tyler, the Creator filled in for DaBaby.

Not only have Paramore announced that they have recently been in the studio working on new music, but singer Hayley Williams recently joined Billie Eilish on stage at Coachella to perform the Paramore hit Misery Business for the first time since 2018. After Eilish introduced her, Williams said, “This is my first Coachella. Woah! Thanks for sharing this with me — This is sick!” Later in the set, Williams came back to perform Eillish’s Happier Than Ever with the singer.
