Maisie Peters has announced ‘An Evening With The Good Witch’ – six acoustic performances in association with record stores across the UK.

Fans unable to snap tickets up will also get a chance to catch Maisie live on ‘The Road To Wembley’ UK and Ireland tour this autumn. The seven date run will visit Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Dublin, Birmingham and Bristol before culminating in a milestone show at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on 3 November. Visit the artist’s official website for further information.

Fresh from her critically acclaimed gig at Hammersmith’s Eventim Apollo and a sold-out homecoming Spotlight Show at Brighton Dome during The Great Escape Festival, Maisie Peters has released Two Weeks Ago, a sombre, reflective offering from her hotly-anticipated new album The Good Witch, arriving 23rd June via Ed Sheeran’s Gingerbread Man Records/Asylum.

A pared-back track about the moments we take for granted and the regrets that surface when they come to an end, ‘Two Weeks Ago’ was written in real-time, together with long-time collaborators and producers Brad Ellis (Anne-Marie, Jorja Smith) and Jez Ashurst (Anne-Marie, One Republic).

Peters previously described her new record as “a twisted version of a breakup album.”

“This is my heart and soul, my blood on the page, the collection of stories that I’ve managed to capture in the past year,” Peters explains. “A true chronicle of my life in recent history, it is my own twisted version of a breakup album and it all draws upon the same couple of months’ worth of experiences and inspirations. It ducks and weaves between the real and surreal, and centres my own universe, of which I am of course the keeper of the keys and the holder of the cards – the good witch, if you will. It goes from light to dark in the flip of a switch and I hope takes you on a journey whereby the end you feel like you’ve gotten lost in someone else’s planet for a bit.”

Maisie Peters’ ‘An Evening With The Good Witch’ acoustic shows are as follows:

13 June – Coventry Empire w/ HMV
14 June – Nottingham Metronome w/ Rough Trade
19 June – Kingston Pryzm w/ Banquet Records
20 June – Southampton Engine Rooms w/ Vinilo
21 June – Brighton Chalk w/ HMV
9 July – Edinburgh LIquid Rooms w/ Assai
