After hinting that they were working on something, Foo Fighters revealed that a new album, entitled Medicine At Midnight was on its way, as well as debuting their brand new single, Shame Shame, when they performed on Saturday Night Live.

The show, which was hosted by Dave Chappelle, saw Dave Grohl and co perform their classic song, Times Like These, as well as Shame Shame, which kicks off the announcement of their new album and explains what the burning coffin image means that fans were seeing on Spotify, as it appears in the video the band released for Shame Shame. The band also shared a clip of some drumming, which we now know was the intro to the new single.

The studio recording of the new single can be heard below, as well as the video of them performing it live on Saturday Night Live.

Medicine At Midnight is due to be released on 5th February 2021, and features Shame Shame alongside eight other songs. It is the band’s first album since Concrete And Gold in 2017. The band have also shared the below image on their Instagram of the album artwork.
