The Head And The Heart will release their fifth studio album, Every Shade Of Blue, on 29 April via Reprise/Warner Records in the US and Parlophone in the UK. Having achieved 1.5 billion career streams, two US Top 10 albums, and landed prime billing at Coachella and Lollapalooza, the band today provide the first taste of what to expect with the release of the title track of the new album, as well as its accompanying video, which was directed by Jacqueline Justice.

The Heart And The Heart will follow the release of the album with the Every Shade Of Blue 2022 North American tour, which commences on 20 May 2020. It includes a show at the Red Rocks Ampitheatre which sold out months in advance. They will be joined in select cities by special guests including Shakey Graves, Dawes and Jade Bird. Please see their website for a full list of tour dates and ticket details.

The band said, “It’s wild to think that by the time we get back on the road this year, it will have been over two-and-a- half years since we last toured. We’re so excited to bring new songs to life on stage every night, traveling alongside artists who inspire us. We can’t wait to get out there, doing what we do with an even greater sense of gratitude.”

Initially self-released in 2011, The Head and The Heart’s self-titled breakout debut produced fan favourites including Rivers And Roads, Down In The Valley and Lost In My Mind, and was certified Gold in the US. 2013’s Let’s Be Still and 2016’s Signs Of Light reached Billboard’s Top 10 albums chart. The album also featured the band’s first No 1 Alternative hit with the single All We Ever Knew.

The band’s fourth full-length album, Living Mirage, was released to critical praise in 2019, and provided another Alternative No 1 hit with Missed Connection. The album’s breakout track Honeybee has a total of 153 million streams to date, peaking at a million streams a week.

The Heart And The Heart appeared in Cameron Crowe’s television series Roadies, while Lost In My Mind featured in the trailer to Silver Linings Playbook. Their previous UK shows have included a headline set at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park on a bill headlined by Tom Petty, and Latitude.
