The Sisters Of Mercy Announce North American Tour
Goth-rock legends The Sisters of Mercy have announced a headlining Fall 2024 North American tour, featuring support from Blaqk Audio (the duo comprised of AFI’s Davey Havok and Jade Puget).
The 26-date outing kicks off on 14 September in Detroit, and runs through to 26 October in Toronto. Along the way, the tour will make stops in New York City, Boston, Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago, among other cities.
A Live Nation pre-sale begins Wednesday (May 8th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code SOUNDCHECK, with a general onsale starting Friday (May 10th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Last year, The Sisters of Mercy embarked on their first stateside tour in 14 years. The band is still led by frontman Andrew Eldritch, who formed the group in Leeds back in 1980, though they haven’t released a new album since 1990’s Vision Thing.
Blaqk Audio, meanwhile, have been fairly prolific, releasing six albums despite the commitments of Havok and Puget to AFI. The electronic duo’s latest LP is 2022’s Trop d’amour.
