Sam Ryder was among the guests joining ABBA star Björn Ulvaeus at a performance of ABBA Voyage. The show was part of the run of groundbreaking concerts which see ABBA performing as digital avatars in their very own, purpose-built ABBA Arena in East London.

Ryder and Ulvaeus were among the 3,000 fans at the Saturday 8 October show. ABBA Voyage opened earlier this year to global critical acclaim and is now booking performances until May 2023.

Sam Ryder has announced his eagerly awaited debut album, There’s Nothing But Space, Man!, – out 18 November on Parlophone records.

In an open letter to fans, Sam said “This year for myself and the team has been one filled with so many blessings, opportunities and dreams coming to fruition. To create a body of work throughout this time representing aspects of our journey feels like the highest honour and a beautiful way to redirect the flow of energy back to the people who are making this whirlwind possible – you. Biggest thank yous, and I hope you enjoy it!”

Since SPACE MAN gave the United Kingdom its best Eurovision result since 1998 and the highest-charting UK Eurovision entry in over quarter of a century, Sam’s been busy completing a well-deserved and rather stylishly executed lap of honour, taking in performances from Buckingham Palace to the British Grand Prix to the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert in Wembley, millions of streams and a gargantuan world tour that’ll take him well into 2023.
