Ozzy Osbourne has announced that he intends to tour the UK again in 2022.

Ozzy’s wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, told Planet Rock radio on 11 October that “Ozzy’s tour has been rebooked. The British tour, he’ll be back in ’22.” The No More Tours II gigs have been cancelled twice so far. Ozzy Osbourne was forced to postpone them after serious health setbacks, including a fall in 2019 and being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in early 2020.

The global coronavirus pandemic also led to shows being cancelled, but Sharon Osbourne confirmed that venues were trying to prepare for re-opening, and that it had actually proved difficult finding availability, noting that, “Everybody’s booking their tours again for like 2022, and to find availabilities right now, it’s crazy. “Agents and facilities are going nuts, trying to get everybody back. It will be exciting. I think it will be a very exciting time when bands do go back and it’ll be joyous….”

And while Ozzy Osbourne only released his latest album, Ordinary Man in February this year, Sharon Osbourne also confirmed that he is back in the studio working on another record.

The couple’s son, Jack Osbourne, had also told the press in May that an Ozzy Osbourne biopic was also in the works, which again, Sharon Osbourne confirmed in her Planet Rock interview. The film, which is reputedly going to focus on Ozzy’s early solo career and his relationship with wife Sharon, is still in development.

All in all, it seems the Prince Of Darkness is still keeping himself busy.
