Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Announce Intimate Show In Bournemouth
Absolute Radio has announced that the station will be hosting Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds at a very special gig at O2 Academy Bournemouth next month. The news came on Dave Berry’s Breakfast Show when it was revealed that tickets will be available to buy from this Friday morning, 30 June.

Taking place on Monday, 31 July the Bournemouth show offers a chance to see Noel and the band perform songs from latest album, Council Skies, in a much more intimate setting than that of their outdoor shows this summer and upcoming arena tour. The whole event will be recorded and broadcast later this year as part of Absolute Radio’s 15th birthday celebrations.
Absolute Radio presenter, Dave Berry said “You’ve seen him in an arena, you’ve seen him in a field but what an opportunity to see Noel up close and in person this summer. Absolute Radio knows how to put on a show and this one will be no exception.”
Council Skies includes the singles Pretty Boy, Easy Now and Council Skies and is widely regarded as Noel’s most varied and accomplished solo record to date. Its release has been met with widespread critical acclaim and UK album sales already in excess of 50,000.
