Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Diana Ross and Lionel Richie are all lined up to play The Cambridge Club Festival, 10-12 June 2021. The festival will take place at Childerely Orchard, situated in the Cambridgeshire countryside, and titckets are available here.

The headline trio will be joined by Corinne Bailey Rae and Gabrielle, while festival goers can expect DJ sets from Sara Cox, Criag Charles (with his Funk & Soul Club), Trevor Nelson and Uncle Funk’s Disco Inferno.

As well as music, festivalgoers can also enjoy comedy talks, live podcasts, wellness activities, an “after dark orchard discotheque” and more.

William Young, Cambridge Club Festival’s Managing Director, spoke about the line-up so far: “We are honoured to be welcoming such iconic artists to The Cambridge Club next year. Since we started out, these were some of the dream names on our list, so we’re absolutely blown away to be able to announce them.

“It’s the most apt and exciting line-up we could have wished for following the breakout success of last year – it really embodies the feel-good, dance-focused philosophy at the heart of the festival, and spans the generations so there’s something for all ages. The 2021 event was incredible – to see people coming together to celebrate and dance after a tough couple of years was magical. We can’t wait to welcome even more of you to The Cambridge Club next June. We’re upping the levels and turning up the party, so don’t miss it!”

Diana Ross is looking likely to have a busy 2022. After releasing her first studio album in 15 years, Thank You, on 5 November, the ex-Supremes singer is due to play Glastonbury next year in the festival’s coveted Sunday afternoon slot on the main stage.

Meanwhile Nile Rodgers has plenty lined up, as the tod The Sun last week: “Over the last two weeks I’ve done pre-production for The Zutons’ new album. I just finished John Legend and Ariana Grande too. Working with Ariana was great.”
