Neil Young, Snoop Dogg, Bobby Weir and The Chicks are among the acts set to play over two nights in celebration of Willie Nelson’s 90th birthday.

The show marks Neil Young’s first public performance since 2019 – the artist has previously said that he doesn’t feel safe touring since the outbreak of the global COVD-19 pandemic.

Nelson’s birthday show, dubbed Long Story Short, will take over the Hollywood Bowl for two nights, on 29-30 April. Nelson himself will perform, and the list of guests also includes Beck, Sturgill Simpson, Leon Bridges, Kacey Musgraves, Margo Price, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers, Orville Peck, Rosanne Cash, Sheryl Crow, Norah Jones, Tom Jones, Ziggy Marley, Billy Strings, Lyle Lovett, Edie Brickell, and Willie’s son Lukas Nelson, among many others. Even more artists will be announced in the weeks ahead.

With a career spanning an incredible seven decades, Willie Nelson is widely recognized as one of the greatest and most influential artists in the history of popular music. A true living legend who has built a globally celebrated career as a musician, author, actor, and activist, Willie turns 90 years young, as vibrant, active, and dynamic as ever. This year alone, as the definitive five-part documentary film on his extraordinary life and career is set to premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, Willie released several new albums (receiving four new nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards), authored his latest book, and continues to perform across the country while also headlining iconic festivals including Farm Aid, July 4th Picnic and his Outlaw Music Festival Tour.

“I can’t think of a better way to spend my 90th birthday than being surrounded by family, friends, and of course the fans who made this all possible,” says Willie Nelson. “It’s an honor to perform with such an incredible group of artists at such an iconic venue.”

A pre-sale is available for Capital One cardholders on 25 January here. Two-day packages for the general public go on sale Saturday 28 January at 10 AM PT at http://ticketmaster.com.
