Lindsey Buckingham has confirmed the dates for his rescheduled UK and European shows. The former Fleetwood Mac guitarist and singer was forced to postpone the tour back in May after he and members of his live band and crew contracted COVID.

A statement on Lindsey’s socials said, “I’m very happy to announce our rescheduled Fall 2022 European tour dates. All tickets purchased to the original dates will be honored. Thank you to everyone for their patience, we can’t wait to see you at these shows.”

Back in May a statement was issued reading, “It is with great sadness that we are announcing the postponement of Lindsey’s European tour. “Along with other members of his band and crew, Lindsey contracted COVID-19 at the end of his latest North American tour, forcing that to end prematurely.

“Unfortunately, he’s still recovering and has no choice but to move the upcoming tour to a later date. This is heartbreaking for Lindsey, he was so excited to come to Europe for the first time as a solo artist this spring.”

Buckingham released his self-titled solo album last year. While Buckingham is often considered a rock artist, he suggested on the album’s release that it belongs in a different genre. “I hear it as a pop album, which is an intention that I had,” he told Forbes in 2021. “Not that there isn’t pop in everything I do to some degree, but I think I was consciously trying to think about it in that way.

“I think I was also consciously trying to refer back to earlier reference points that some of which were Fleetwood Mac,” he said. “You can probably connect the dots between a song like On The Wrong Side and Go Your Own Way.”

Lindsey Buckingham UK and European tour dates 2022:

OCTOBER
Saturday 01 – London, London Palladium
Monday 03 – Glasgow, SEC Armadillo
Tuesday 04 – Liverpool, Philharmonic Hall
Thursday 06 – Dublin, Helix
