Kylie Minogue Announces Intimate Free Show At London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire
Australian pop superstar Kylie Minogue has announced she’s all set to play an intimate London show later this month. This one is at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and there’s a chance to win tickets for free.
To get to see Kylie on Wednesday September 27 at this intimate, private gig, fans will need to O2 Priority customers. There are a total of 700 pairs of tickets up for grabs, with general admission or seated on Level Two or Three tickets to be won.
Kylie will perform a selection of classics and new songs, as the show will be just days after the release of her newest album Tension.
Kylie Minogue said: ‘I’m thrilled to be returning to London to play such an intimate venue. It’s going to be a really special evening playing some favourites from throughout my career and of course from my new album out that week. I can’t wait to see some of you there!’
O2 Priority customers can enter the ballot for Kylie Minogue at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire online via the venue’s official website. Ballot entry is now live and ends on Thursday September 14.
The news of Kylie’s special intimate show comes after it was revealed that Radio 2 is celebrating Kylie Minogue with the launch of a brand new podcast Eras: Kylie Minogue and two exclusive interviews with Kylie and Radio 2 DJs Zoe Ball and Scott Mills.
Last Friday, 1 September, Kylie appeared on The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show to chat all about what her fans can expect from her upcoming headline slot at Radio 2 in the Park in Leicester on 17 September. During the show, she was joined joined by actor Daisy May Cooper and entrepreneur Steven Bartlett for Zoe’s Friends Round Friday.
The Eras: Kylie Minogue podcast launched on BBC Sounds and globally on RSS on UK bank holiday Monday 28 August, and will tell the story of Kylie’s career through its era-defining chapters. Hosted by Scott Mills, each chapter will be told by fans, commentators and packed with exclusive material from the BBC archive.
