KISS To Perform A Special New Year’s Eve Livestream Show

KISS are to play a special livestreamed New Year’s Eve performance on 31st December called, ‘KISS 2020 Goodbye’.

The event, which is taking place at the Atlantis hotel and resort in Dubai, is set to be a extravaganza. As a statement for the gig said, “In true KISS fashion, they are bringing the biggest & baddest concert event and pyrotechnics show of the year, proving once again, that KISS never does anything small. The massive stage production and FREE pre-show will be brought directly into your living room at 9 pm LIVE from Atlantis Dubai on December 31st!”

The show will set fans back $40 for a standard ticket for the show, but there are also VIP options ranging from Gold at $250, or Platinum for $1,000. The limited edition VIP packages will also include 30 days unlimited live streaming of the show as well as eight collectable items (for the Gold package) and 14 collectable items for the Platinum package, including a collectable numbered KISS 2020 engraved metal ticket, of which 2,500 have been made. Other items include limited edition hoodies and T-shirts, vinyl, guitar picks, drum sticks, and an autographed poster, among other exclusives.

Filmed with more than 50 cameras and 360-degree views, the show, which is produced by Landmarks Live is set to be an “experience like no other virtual concert before.”

KISS, made up of members Demon, Starchild, Spaceman and Catman, were meant to be performing their farewell tour, but have since had to reschedule it to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic. They are also set to headline Download Festival 2021 alongside Biffy Clyro and System Of A Down, with the festival scheduled for 4-6th June in Leicestershire.
