Justin Timberlake Hints At What Fans Can Expect From A New Album
Justin Timberlake gave fans some insight into his next album, which will be his first since 2018’s Man Of The Woods.
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his latest film, Palmer, about a former high school football star who returns home after 12 years in prison, which was released on Apple TV+ on 29th January.
Jimmy Fallon asked, “Can we say… is there a possibility that there’s going to be a new Justin Timberlake album in the works?”
Justin Timberlake replied, “Yeah we can say that… there’s a possibility…” before saying “let’s go with yes. I’ve been in and out of the studio working on stuff and I’ve played you a few tunes.”

Timberlake had shared photos on his Instagram of his time working in his studio, including footage of him sitting behind a mixing desk with legendary producer Timbaland, who Justin has worked with across his career. He also shared a photo captioned “back at it” where he can be seen supposedly working on vocal takes.
Timberlake also performed a new song at Joe Biden’s inauguration, called Better Days.
Speaking to Jimmy Fallon about the performing on Celebrating America, which was hosted by Tom Hanks, he said, “I had written a song with Ant Clemons, an up-and-coming artist.
“We had written a song, ‘Better Days’, and we were doing these writing sessions and we started writing this song. Ironically, I recorded my final vocal for the song on election day just because I was so nervous about what was going to happen. I had to distract myself.
“I don’t know if somebody who was on my side communicated to them or… I’m just gonna with I’m pretty sure Joe and Kamala [Harris, Vice-President] just wanted us to do it. We just heard there as an opportunity to perform at the inauguration and we were super stoked to do it.”
