Dua Lipa also recently joined Elton John on stage to perform Cold Heart during his final North American show at Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, on 20 November.

They performed their recent smash hit Cold Heart (PNAU REMIX), which hit No 7 on Billboard’s Hot 100, No 1 on its Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart and No 1 on the UK singles chart upon its release. The song has been streamed over 1 billion times on Spotify worldwide and most recently won Top Dance/Electronic Song at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards. Cold Heart (PNAU REMIX), is a combination of two of Elton John’s most beloved tracks, Sacrifice and Rocket Man.

In a recent interview with Vogue Australia, Dua reflected on her early days and the process of discovering who she was as an artist, “It took me a little bit of time to find my feet and figure out who I was as an artist, you know, creatively. It was a step-by-step process. As an artist, as you evolve and you practise your craft—the more you spend time really honing things—the more comfortable and confident you are. And that’s how I felt with [Future Nostalgia].”

And Dua revealed that writing is progressing well on her new material, “As I’m writing my new album, I feel even more liberated in a completely different way,” she says. “And even more in control than I thought.”
