Coldplay have released a new EP, Infinity Station Sessions, exclusively on Apple Music. The set was recorded entirely in Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos and sees the pop-rock superstars giving live performance of highlights from their hugely successful ninth album, Music Of The Spheres, as well as a moving rendition of their 2010 single Christmas Lights.

The special collection is part of From Apple Music With Love, an ongoing Christmas countdown series featuring exclusive releases from some of music’s biggest acts. Elton John, Nile Rogers, and more have recently shared new content to the platform.

The Infinity Station Sessions EP tracklisting:

1. Higher Power
2. Human Heart
3. People Of The Pride
4. Coloratura
5. Christmas Lights

The EP gives fans a taste of what to expect from Coldplay’s 2022 tour. The band have pledged to make the shows as eco-firndly as possible, saying in a statement: “We’re very conscious that the planet is facing a climate crisis. So we’ve spent the last two years consulting with environmental experts to make this tour as sustainable as possible, and, just as importantly, to harness the tour’s potential to push things forward.

“We won’t get everything right, but we’re committed to doing everything we can and sharing what we learn. It’s a work in progress and we’re really grateful for the help we’ve had so far. If you’d like to come to a show and sing with us, we’re so excited to see you.”
