Charli XCX has shared a new trailer for Alone Together, her documentary about the process of making her 2020 album, How I’m Feeling Now, in isolation. Alone Together is out in selected cinemas and available on-demand on January 28. Watch the trailer below.

Charli announced Alone Together last summer, and it premiered at South by Southwest in March. The film’s official synopsis reads: ““With almost a year of editing over 5000 clips from different cameras and formats condensed into 107 minutes, Charli XCX: Alone Together is a love letter to her fans who are the co-stars of the movie.”

She announced her next album, Crash, in November, releasing the song New Shapes with Caroline Polachek and Christine & The Queens along with a lengthy tour itinerary. She had previously released the single Good Ones in September, which Perfume Genius recently remixed.

In other Charli news, she will appear as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on 18 December with host Paul Rudd. it’s been announced that her drummer for the performance will Luis Aponte of the Philadelphia metalcore outfit Jesus Piece. “Happy to say I’ll be playing drums for this,” Aponte told his Twitter followers on Tuesday 14 December.
