Busta Rhymes has announced his next album, Blockbusta, will be out next month and will be executively produced by Swizz Beatz, Pharrell and Timbaland.

The news was revealed when Rhymes posted a video of himself alongside his group of world famous executive producers, during which each expressed gratitude for working with one another. Watch the video below.

“I’m so grateful that you chose me to be a part of your legacy,” said Timbaland. Pharrell added, “You really feel illuminated. This illumination is good because I think people are going to be able to get and feel that.” In the clip, Beatz refers to Williams as “the pharaoh”; to Timbaland as “the king”; and to himself as “the student.”

Though he didn’t reveal the full tracklisting or any featured artists for the album during the clip, Rhymes has already had numerous collaborations released this year, including Beach Ball featuring Bia, Murda featuring Bilal and Luxury Life with Coi Leray, the latter of which he co-produced with Beatz. Beach Ball is set to be included on Blockbusta.

Rhymes last released an album in 2020 with Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, a long-awaited project that featured guest appearances from Mariah Carey, Q-Tip and Kendrick Lamar.

Busta Rhymes is currently on the European leg of his The Final Lap world tour with 50 Cent, celebrating 20 years of 50’s debut album Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ as well as Rhymes’ hip-hop career.
