Biffy Cyro Announce Halifax Piece Hall Gig For August
Biffy Clyro have announced a show at The Piece Hall, Halifax, on 23 August. Support at the outdoor gig will come from Witch Fever and tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday (3 May).

The live performance at the open-air courtyard comes as the final announcement for the 2024 edition of TK Maxx presents Live at The Piece Hall. Comprising 34 shows, the summer event will kick off on Friday 7 June with an opening night from punk heroes Blondie. Other headliners lined up include Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Richard Ashcroft, Korn, Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Sheryl Crow, Fatboy Slim, PJ Harvey, Pixies, IDLES and Underworld.
“What an amazing band for our final announcement for this summer,” said Nicky Chance-Thompson MBE DL, CEO of The Piece Hall Trust, of the announcement. “Biffy Clyro compliment the rest of our line-up perfectly for what is our biggest, best and most diverse summer music season. Tickets are going to fly out for this so fans really need to be fast!”
In March, the band announced six special UK shows this October to celebrate their first three albums: Blackened Sky, Vertigo Of Bliss and Infinity Land. The shows are to reward hardcore fans who have been with the band throughout their journey to date.
Biffy will play three consecutive nights at London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, followed by a return to Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom for their first live shows at the venue since their rapturously received run there in 2014.
Each show will see them play one album in full, followed by a selection of songs from their other records.
