Arctic Monkeys, Dua Lipa, Kings Of Leon To Headline Sziget 2022
Arctic Monkeys, Dua Lipa and Kings Of Leon have been announced as the headliners for Sziget Festival 2022 with tickets available here. The event will take place in Budapest, Hungary between 10-15 August.
The festival, which routinely draws several hundred thousand visitors to an island in the River Danube in Budapest, was cancelled this year and in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“We are preparing for the 2022 Sziget (festival) with great enthusiasm, with a programme that is worthy of a ‘grand comeback’ after a long break,” Tamas Kadar, Sziget’s chief organiser, said in a statement.
The annoucement of Arctic Monkeys as one of the headliners will excite fans as speculation mounts that the Sheffield band will be soon returning with the follow-up to 2018’s Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino. The band have recently announced a string of European festival headline slots and have been pictured at recording studios.
