Alice Cooper Announces ‘Too Close For Comfort’ UK Tour
Alice Cooper has announced his return for a UK tour in October. The rock icon and Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee will bring his Too Close For Comfort Tour to arenas in Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds, before two up close and in your face gigs at London’s Eventim Apollo.
For his first run of UK dates since 2022, the 76-year-old will be accompanied by his long-running live band, comprising guitarists Nita Strauss, Ryan Roxie and Tommy Henrikson, bassist Chuck Garric and drummer Glen Sobel.

Support will come from Primal Scream on all dates except London, where Sex Pistols guitarist-songwriter Glen Matlock will be the special guest. Essex punk duo The Meffs will open all dates. Cooper released his latest album, Road, in 2023. Commenting on the record, he said: “For Road, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs. I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so.”
Following a handful of European dates this summer, including a headline slot at Belgium’s Graspop Metal Meeting in June, Cooper will reunite with Rob Zombie for another round of US shows, extending their Freaks On Parade Tour. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
