Air Announce ‘Moon Safari’ Show At Halifax Piece Hall
Air have added a show at Halifax Piece Hall on 26 June to their upcoming UK tour, which will see them play their classic album Moon Safari in full. Tickets are on sale this Friday (16 February) at 9am GMT.

They are the latest headliners to be announced for the Live At The Piece Hall 2024 series of gigs – which runs between June 7 and August 24 – joining previously revealed artists including Nile Rodgers & Chic, Grace Jones, Fatboy Slim, IDLES, Richard Ashcroft, Loyle Carner, Pixies, and more.
“Moon Safari is such an iconic album and I know so many people have very special memories of listening to it on repeat in the final years of the last millennium,” said Nicky Chance-Thompson MBE DL, CEO of The Piece Hall Trust, of the new announcement. “What a joy it will be to hear it performed in full in our beautiful courtyard. This is going to be a truly wonderful and emotional show.”
Air recently announced a 25th anniversary 2CD+blu-ray deluxe reissue of Moon Safari, available on Parlophone/Warner on 8 March.
The set will include a Spatial Dolby Atmos audio version of the original album along with super rare or previously unreleased tracks as well as Mike Mill’s 1998 documentary film, Eating, Sleeping, Waiting & Playing – filmed during the band’s first ever worldwide tour and more.
