Peter Hook & The Light are among the latest additions to the line-up of the 2023 Isle Of Wight festival, due to take place at Seaclose Park, Newport between 15-18 June.

This year’s headliners are Pulp, George Ezra, The Chemical Brothers, and Robbie Williams. Sheffield rockers Pulp will return to Seaclose Park for the first time in 12 years to headline the main stage on the Friday night. Green Green Grass hitmaker Ezra co-headlines on Saturday night with The Chemical Brothers.

And former Take That star Robbie Williams will play a UK festival exclusive, closing out the festival on the Sunday night.

Williams said: “There is something magic about a British festival…us Brits know how to bring the energy. I am thrilled to be headlining the iconic Isle of Wight Festival, it’s a real honour. I can’t wait.”

Sam Ryder, Blondie, Niall Horan, Sugababes, N-Dubz, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Anne-Marie, Sam Ryder, Mika and James Bay will also appear at the festival. Meanwhile, the Big Top stage will feature performances from Example and The Reytons.

Former Joy Division and New Order bassist Hook was in the news last week as he joined The Smashing Pumpkins for the finale of their headlining set at The World Is A Vampire festival in Mexico. Hook joined the veteran grungers for a cover of the Joy Division song, No Love Lost.

The Isle Of Wight gig is part of a run of UK dates for Hook, see below.
